a quick entry coz i know i haven't been blogging for very long..

1) went to batam last sunday for a one day shopping trip.. quite an eye-opener but argh, go there shopping quite sian. should visit the beach resort instead. we went with RC, so our tour mates were 90% aunties and uncles. expected that, the RC planned the trip such as to match their needs. in the end we shopped for foodstuffs like ikan billis and stuffs too hahaha. "wasted" half of my trip. photos to be uploaded this weekend :)

2) tjc dance club won gold without honours this year haha. don't laugh, some other top dance club also only managed to clinch gold as well. don't be disappointed juniors. anyway i've been allocated kair lair fair roles again. whats new? i'm not really taking it to heart, although a tinge of disappointment is always inevitable. there are people who are really upset about their roles being too small though, but c'mon.. the world is realistic. face it. no point feeling sore about it right.. if you're not good enough you're condemned. thats the cruel fact we must all accept.

3) received ntu's letter of acceptance and hooray i've got my first choice :) will most probably be accepting the offer though i'm still considering.. it's kinda sad nus hasn't got any suitable courses for me in the first place coz even if i take chem i can't even take biochem as my concentration coz i don't have A'level bio. what rubbish. if i can't take biochem i'll be stuck to material chem or something along that line which isn't really where my interest lies.

beijing university sounds great. but am i really prepared to spend 2 years on a foreign land? i don't think i can regret and back out if i accept the offer. sigh.. but i think the course is going to be fun. the worst thing is i haven't found anybody who is willing to be my room mate. not because of my living habit thank goodness, but how come the response for hostel is so bad? i seriously don't want to stay with strangers but i seriously don't want to stay at home. what a dilemma.. and i never knew so many parents think so badly about hostels. guess only my parents encourage that. what so bad anyway? fearing of bad company and stuff.. but do you think you can protect your child like that forever? i think we're of an age old enough to think for ourselves.. we can already differentiate whats bad and good for us, so why worry? they're hostels and we're living in the school.. we're not living in chalets/hotels/motels :x

i shall pray that i will be bestowed upon a room mate whom i at least know.
